Haylee & Aaron are the type of people that leave you with a smile on your face – for days. Like many of my couples, Haylee had first booked me over email and so the first time we met in person was months later for their engagement session. From the first minute we met, I felt like I had known them all my life. Her mum gave me the warmest hug and made me feel welcome and I got to meet her twin sister, Penny and her brother, Josh. We then spent over an hour exploring her parents farm, taking photos of the two of them. I adored every minute (click here to have a peek at their engagement photos!)
Fast forward 10 months and it was time for their Albion Farm Gardens wedding in the Hunter Valley – to say I was excited was an understatement. Scroll down and you’ll see why. Mr & Mrs Townsend, I hope you love these photos as much as I loved taking them!
Here’s a peek into their beautiful wedding day:
Like most of my JFL wedding days, I started with bride prep, where Haylee was getting ready with her gorgeous bridesmaids: Penny, Jess & Tash. I got busy documenting her beautiful details while they had their hair & makeup done…
How incredible is this barn for her stunning dress!
Before we knew it, it was time for Haylee to get dressed into her stunning wedding dress and get ready for her wedding ceremony…
and my goodness did she make my job easy! What a beautiful bride you are my love.
One of the many things Haylee & Aaron loved about Albion Farm Gardens was the beautiful boat house garden & lake. It was the perfect spot for their garden ceremony.
The moment everyone had been waiting for… especially Aaron.
After a beautiful ceremony, it was time for their bridal portraits around this gorgeous Hunter Valley wedding venue! The team at Albion Farm Gardens took us all around in golf carts, stopping each and every time I squealed with excitement at the light and scenery. Which was a lot. Thanks for putting up with me everyone!
I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite from all the spots on the property we got to use… but being a flower lover at heart, this secret garden took my breath away!
The beautiful Mrs Townsend and her handsome husband.
I just loved getting some of the cattle in the background of these photos… this venue seriously has everything!
As the sun started to set, the finishing touches were being put on the Woodville School of Arts for their wedding reception (which is also managed by the lovely Kate and her team at Albion Farm Gardens.) After the newlyweds entered, they were ready to celebrate with their nearest & dearest long into the night…
but of course, they also had some speeches, a surprise song performance by Haylee’s sister Penny (which was FANTASTIC!), cake cutting and their first dance.
A perfect night to end the perfect day.
Before I left, I had to document some of the dance floor antics of course… and antics there were!
Haylee & Aaron, I hardly have enough words to say thank you. Thank you for being two amazing people, for trusting me to document these precious memories and for treating me like you would a close friend. I have so much love for you both and cannot wait to see the future that is in store for you both as husband and wife!
Lots of love, Kylie xx
