A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be a part of a Jasmine Star photography workshop in Double Bay, Sydney. To say I was excited, would have been a HUGE understatement. I honestly was a nervous wreck… I had butterflies for days, I couldn’t eat or sleep properly, I couldn’t even think about anything else… sounds ridiculous I know. I was seriously like a kid before Christmas, actually no… I was a kid about to meet Santa Claus at the North Pole, on Christmas Eve (not that Jasmine looks anything like Santa!) but you get the idea.
Meeting Jasmine and learning from her in person, was a dream come true. From the moment I fell in love with wedding photography, I also fell head over heels for Jasmine and her generous spirit. She not only is an incredible wedding photographer from the United States, but she also shares her journey, mistakes, successes and her heart openly with all. I can say with certainty, that she is one of the reasons I am here today – a full time wedding photographer following my dreams and doing what I’m passionate about. So… hence I was a little excited!
What I didn’t prepare myself for was the other amazing photographers that I would get to know. 19 gorgeous women, all passionate, funny, talented women that I can now proudly call my friends. This workshop has not only changed my business (I have so many things I want to implement), it has also added so much joy into my life! Thank you so much Jasmine & JD… I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both, as well as each one of us!
