Katherine & Daniel. You guys leave me a little speechless. If you know me, you’ll also know that’s a rare occurrence. I just loved everything about your Elements Byron Bay wedding day! From our very first meeting, I felt like we had been friends for years – listening to how you met, what your life looked like and the dreams you have for your married future together. It was the highlight of my week. From that meeting, I was then counting down the days until your stunning wedding day – I knew it would be beautiful, but honestly, it was also because I was looking forward to hanging out with you both again too!
Everything about your wedding was better than I imagined. From the perfect Byron Bay weather we were lucky to have, to the 5 star wedding venue. From the talented team you had bought together, to the laughter & fun we had with your bridal party. The entire day was relaxed, romantic and a complete joy to be a part of. Thank you again for choosing me. I loved being the one to document it for you and I simply cannot wait to show you more images from your incredible wedding.
Until then though, here’s a little peek into your romantic Elements Byron Bay wedding day:
Katherine & Daniel both got ready at Elements Byron Bay – in separate villas of course! When I arrived at Katherine’s villa, where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids & family, I walked in to the most relaxed atmosphere! The girls were giggling, the music was playing and they were all excited for the day ahead. Exactly how it should be! I got busy documenting her beautiful details…
Before we realised, it was time for her to get dressed into her stunning gown, with the help of her lovely friend Emily.
She was a vision – Katherine, you are such a beautiful girl!
Meanwhile, my second photographer Kaitlin was document Daniel’s wedding day morning… starting also with his incredible – more masculine – details…
Gosh, I just love these quiet moments during the morning that we get to document.
Katherine & Daniel’s wedding ceremony was held at Elements of Byron, overlooking the beach… it was a perfect day with not a cloud in the sky! My friends at Ivy + Bleu were responsible for the styling at the wedding, as well as all the florals. I think we can all agree they did a wonderful job!
The moment everyone – especially Daniel – had been waiting for…
Gosh I adored their wedding ceremony – it had the perfect mix of personal touches, mixed with some funny stories and sentimental moments. Andrew Michael from AM Weddings, well done!
After they were officially MR + MRS SNOW (cue applause!) and we had taken their group photo and family photos, it was time for their bridal party portraits! Elements has so many incredible places to chose from, it is honestly a photographers dream – made perfect by these two lovebirds!
We took advantage of the private beach access the resort provides – getting some photos with the stunning coastline as the backdrop!
Katherine & Daniel also jumped in our car and we drove down to the railway tracks just down the road from the resort for some sunset photos with just the two of them. This is the perfect time for them to reflect on the fact that they are now married!
Could you two be any cuter? I don’t think so!
As the sun set, the finishing touches were being put on their wedding reception back at Elements…
We snuck in for a couple of photos before it was time for their grand entrance as a married couple!
The night was full of so many good moments – from the heartfelt (& funny) speeches to the impressive dance floor moves that we saw unfold – I think this day was the perfect start to the incredible marriage I know Katherine + Daniel are going to have! Congratulations again you guys!
