I have to admit, Amara & Callum’s romantic Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm wedding is now one of my all time favourites (I know, I’m probably not meant to have favourites – and I do love all my JFL couples – but some venues have stolen my heart!) Kooroomba Lavender Farm is one of those – a stunning wedding venue located in the Fassifern Valley, a short drive from Boonah. It offers the most incredible chapel, breathtaking mountain views and rows upon rows of lavender – and that’s without even mentioning how incredible the sunsets are out there. My first experience there – a dreamy editorial before their chapel was even built – was nothing short of spectacular, click here to see it!
Amara & Callum, you did so well choosing this wedding venue to become husband and wife! I loved every windy second I was a part of your wedding day and cannot wait to show you more images.
Until then, here’s a little peek into your romantic Kooroomba wedding day:
Amara got ready at Silky Oaks Farm Stay with her 3 lovely bridesmaids – Molly, Meghan & Kristie. When I arrived, I started taking photos of all of Amara’s beautiful bridal details while the girls had their hair & makeup done…
Just look at these flowers by the incredible Tanya from Sugared Style… how beautiful are they!
As midday came – and went – it was time for Amara to get dressed into her stunning gown and finish getting ready…
I just adore this photo of her, taken through the glass window of a nearby door. What a vision she is.
Nearby, Callum was getting ready at Sandstone Retreat, with his family and 3 groomsmen – Luke, David & Sam. When I arrived, the guys were all pretty calm & collected, enjoying a beer and just hanging out!
I photographed his details and then captured him getting ready with his groomsmen…
Before we knew it, the afternoon was upon us and it was time for these two to become husband & wife. As I made my way over to Kooroomba Lavender Farm, I couldn’t help but appreciate the landscape around us. Even in winter, this view never disappoints!
The stunning open air chapel at Kooroomba makes for the most beautiful of wedding ceremonies. It’s certainly one of a kind!
At one end of the property, Amara was arriving with her bridesmaids & father – at the other end, Callum was waiting patiently for her at the front of the chapel. You could feel the anticipation in the air!
After a beautiful bridal entrance, Amara joined Callum at the front of the chapel to become his wife!
Their wedding ceremony was just beautiful – full of personal touches and stories about their life together so far. Afterwards, we did their group photo and family photos and then they joined their guests for canapes (a perk when having an earlier ceremony, means more time with your guests before your bridal party photos!) I then grabbed them as the light got dreamy for photos around the property with their bridal party…
Gosh I love this! These two were such a dream to ‘work’ with!
I think this is the most beautiful bridal party photo: a bridal party that’s on point, a stunning sun that’s setting, incredible mountain views and that beautiful golden light. You can’t ask for much more than that!
As the sun finished setting, the final touches were being put on their wedding reception…
As Mr & Mrs Hill joined their loved ones, everyone was ready to celebrate long into the night…
Amara & Callum, THANK YOU! Not only for a wonderful wedding day experience, but also just for being such wonderful people. You – along with your family and friends – made me feel so welcome, it was such a pleasure to be your wedding photographer. I honestly didn’t want to leave!
I wish you all the best for your married life together and I know, the next part of your journey is going to be just as incredible as the first 11 years you’ve spent together. Lots of love, Kylie xx
