From the minute I met Mary Rose + Alex, I loved them. I loved how sweet Mary Rose is, how organised, how detail oriented (we’re very similar haha!) I love how Alex looks at her, speaks to her, adores her. Together, this pair are going to not only have a wonderful wedding, but also a wonderful marriage. I caught up with them both just before Christmas, at the QUT Gardens Point Campus here in Brisbane for their Engagement Session! These two are total rockstars, coping with the Brisbane heat much better than I did – Alex may have mentioned a few times though how pleased he is that they are getting married in winter! Not only was it such a joy to hang out with them both, but also to document this time in their lives – engaged and waiting to be married.
Here’s a sneak peek into the photos we took that day:
You guys, I have to admit, I was pretty stoked to find a rose bush that was blooming little buds that were the same colour as Mary Rose’s pretty dress! Told you, I’m all about the details!
After we spent time taking photos around the university campus and gardens, we made our way down to the Brisbane River…
I just love this backdrop with the storey bridge and river boats! So pretty!
Mary Rose & Alex, I’m so glad that you’ve picked me to be your wedding photographer – I feel like I’ve won the lottery with you both! I’m seriously counting down the days until your August wedding at Riverlife!
Wish them well in the comments below you guys – and I’d love to hear what you think of these photos:
