A lot of “About Me” pages share how they wanted to be a photographer since they were young. That’s not my story. I had no idea that I wanted to be a photographer until I became one. I didn’t dream of this career my entire life or have parents pass the passion down BUT now, I can't imagine doing anything else.
I love a good bottle of wine (I could say glass but we know that's never enough) and working from home with my best friend and our new little human by my side. My mission? To make every single bride go wild over not just her wedding photos but the entire process leading up to her wedding day... and hopefully becoming friends in the process!
White Wine. Or Red Wine. Or any wine (that's not too sweet!) I actually have a JFL couple that have renamed Wednesday into Wine'sday and enjoy a midweek glass. I'm actually thinking Nick & I should also partake in that kind of tradition! Lately, I've started drinking Gin too! I feel so grown up sipping on a G&T.
True Crime Podcasts. They just really intrigue me. Often I'll listen to one on the way to an engagement session, wedding or while I'm editing. Quite the juxta-position considering the beauty I'm witnessing in my real life... Some of my faves: Casefile, Sword & Scale. Know any others? Please share!
ICE-CREAM. Oh. Em. Gee. My total weakness. When I was pregnant with Spencer, I used the excuse of having 'cravings' to eat Ice-cream nearly every day of my pregnancy. It was bliss. Flavour of choice: Mint Choc Chip. Or Raspberry. Or Mango & White Choc. Ok, I can't chose you guys!
Christmas. I know, who doesn't. But guys, I REALLY LOVE Christmas. I wish I could sing Christmas carols all year round and we could leave our tree up indefinitely... but Nick is a bit of a grinch and would never have it! When Spencer was born I didn't know any nursery rhymes so I've sung him Christmas Carols instead - hopefully he grows up to love it as much as I do!
Cottage Roses. Or any kind of roses actually. I've attempted to grow them SO many times, but they just always die. When I was little my mum had the most incredible rose garden... I think that might be where the love for them comes from, sweet childhood memories!
