Buying a bridal magazine is such an iconic right of passage for a girl when she becomes engaged… the same can be said for a wedding photographer, when their work goes from unpublished to published. Having your work published in a print magazine is crazy hard, with SO many amazing weddings taking place every single weekend here in Queensland and only a limited number of printed Wedding Magazines these days… so to have not just one, but two weddings published in the same magazine – is unheard of. That though is what happened last month for me through the Winter Edition of Queensland Brides! It was certainly a ‘pinch me’ kind of day!

Rhys & Tui and their incredible Old Government House wedding was featured in this edition – I just adored their winter wedding, her Karen Willis Holmes gown was seriously incredible (it even had an overlay she could take off when it came time to party at the Reception at Room 360 – I LOVE that idea!)

Ashley & Rayno’s amazing wedding at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat was also featured… with Queensland Brides sharing their love story as well the story of their Wedding Day! Their day will always have a fond place in my heart, as will the two of them.

A huge thanks to Queensland Brides for the support and for loving on my couples as much as I hope I do! Honestly, without my incredible JFL brides & grooms, none of this would be possible – you guys make it all worthwhile and I am forever grateful to you!
