I’ll always remember the first time I met Sarah… it was a couple of years ago at Noosa North Shore over New Years Eve. Nick & I were so excited as we very rarely do anything for New Years celebrations (we’re normally fast asleep by midnight, especially now we have Spencer!) so when we were invited by some friends of ours to join a group of them at an apartment for a couple of days – we jumped at the chance. As soon as I met Sarah, I saw how lovely she was… and over the span of 24 hours, I got to know her even more! Unfortunately on New Years Eve, a day into our getaway, Nick injured his back PICKING UP a tennis ball – he hadn’t even started playing yet! He then spent New Years Eve sitting in a chair, unable to move, dosed up on painkillers – while we all danced around him. Needless to say, it’s a New Years night we’ll definitely remember, albeit for the wrong reasons haha
While Nick’s back has never been the same – I still think it was worth it (sorry Nick!) because I got to meet the lovely Sarah… and fast forward a couple of years, I then got to meet the love of her life James and document their Engagement Session and Wedding Day!
Here’s a peek into the photos from their Engagement Session at The Grounds of Alexandria (one of my favourite places in Sydney!)
We strolled through the gardens…
and of course had to use the famous Grounds Money Box!
Lucky for us there was another couple were getting married in a different section of the venue at the same time we were taking photos – which meant that all of the public cleared out and we pretty much had The Grounds to ourselves! I had to keep pinching myself – I’m never normally that lucky… and this place is never normally so quiet!
How cute are these two! Seriously.
James & Sarah, thank you for trusting me to document this time in your lives… I have loved getting to know you both and know that you’re going to have an incredible future together as husband & wife.
Wish them well in the comments below you guys – and I’d love to hear what you think of these photos:
