Sometimes I find it really difficult to showcase my couples wedding day on my blog… I mean, how do you condense so many moments, so many memories, such an amazing day… into a handful of images. I had this problem when preparing this blog post for Garrick & Jo’s Wedding… Nick & I were there with them for the entire day, over 12 hours, we shared in moments, we documented exchanged glances, warm embraces and celebratory tears. It was certainly a day we will never forget and we still feel extremely honoured to have been chosen to document their first day as husband and wife! Here are some images from their gorgeous Wedding Day at Spicers Hidden Vale…
Jo & G – thank you. Thank you for making us feel so very welcome… I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both, I know it is going to be all kinds of incredible. Lots of love, Nick & Kylie xx
Jo had the most stunning of details set aside for her Wedding Day… the florals by Bella Bloom Floral Design, just completed her entire vision!
Garrick & Jo decided to do a First Look before the Ceremony… to not only calm any nerves but also share this intimate moment, between just the two of them. This experience is so incredibly special and I would highly recommend all of my couples consider having a First Look with their husband to be – plus, it means that they could join their guests for canapes before we disappeared for the bridal portraits! With friends & family travelling from all over the globe to join them on their Wedding Day, they wanted to spend as much time as possible with the people they loved most in the world. Which I totally love.
Their ceremony was held under the majestic Fig Tree at Spicers Hidden Vale… a picture perfect setting to become husband & wife!
Celebrant Sarah May Alexander performed such a personal Ceremony, there was laughter, tears and surprise vows… my favourite!
After the newlyweds joined their guests for Canapes, we explored the grounds of Spicers Hidden Vale together… allowing them to enjoy a few moments out of their day to just be together and reflect that they were now husband & wife! That infinity pool makes for perfect photos, reflection and all! Love.
We then joined up with the bridal party for some golden hour portraits out in the paddock… I was secretly hoping for a kangaroo or two to jump in the background but no such luck. I think perhaps we were making a little bit too much noise haha
Garrick & Jo chose to have an outdoor reception (with a wet weather backup plan too of course) but the weather for their day, was totally perfection.
So many vendors collaborated to make this Reception perfect and oh, did it sparkle. From the blooms on the tables, to the sunset backdrop and the glistening LOVE letters – it seriously took your breath away!
With only the night sky as a backdrop, Garrick & Jo celebrated with all of their friends and family… celebrating their love and this day that they had waited so patiently to arrive!
Of course we had to take one last night time photo before we left… Introducing Mr & Mrs Chatterjee!
A huge thanks to the creative team that helped this gorgeous couple bring their Wedding Day vision to life:
