From the first email I received from Emma, I knew she would make the perfect JFL bride. All of my JFL girls are so super sweet (as is Emma), they value spending time with their friends & family over anything else and they are a little obsessed with flowers (or perhaps I’m the obsessed one but they sure do love them too!) Emma ticked all these boxes as her & Michael plan an intimate wedding with a vintage feel and lots of flowers. It was pretty much love at first email for me!
I caught up with these two at a new wedding venue Squires Vineyard Hunter Valley. The owner Natalie was kind enough to let us use her property for their photos and my goodness, we were a little spoilt for choice! From the incredible driveway to the lush green vines – it was perfect for their Engagement Session!
Here’s a peek at the photos we took together:
For those that know me, you know how much I love dorky dad jokes… so when Michael told me ‘I did a ‘grape’ job’ taking this photo, I may have laughed a little too hard! If you ever need someone to appreciate a ‘dad joke’ I’m your girl.
After we spent some time in the vines, we used the stunning driveway for some more portraits…
and then finished down by the dam as the sun started to set.
I have to say, Emma & Michael are not only one of the sweetest couples, but they are also very brave. We may have gotten chased by kangaroo’s out of this area as they felt like it was theirs… but hey, luckily we’re all alive to tell the story! Thank you for being so brave you pair and I’m so sorry for endangering your life! I’m starting to believe Nick now when he tells me all the time that Australia is a dangerous bloody country (he’s originally from the UK where nothing seems to ever hurt you!)
Emma & Michael, thank you so much for trusting me to document this time in your lives… I’m so happy that our paths crossed and I got to know you both! I wish you all the best as you continue to plan your incredible wedding day! Lots of love, Kylie xx
Wish them well in the comments below you guys – and I’d love to hear what you think of these photos:
