If there is one thing I know about Dale (apart from her crazy obsession with tea!) is that she is in love with a boy. A boy that, on a rainy day in Maleny – became her husband!
Living in Mackay, Dale & Scott chose to make their wedding, a bit of a destination affair… with most of their friends & family travelling to be a part of their special day here on the Sunshine Coast. This only added to the celebration and the power of love that surrounded them on their wedding day… making it a complete joy to document. Scott & Dale celebrated under a canopy of grey and when they melted into each others’ arms later that day, they let the wind swirl all around them. On their wedding day, just like the hundreds of days before it, they knew they could face anything as long as they remained connected at the heart…and it was only made better when the inclusion of their friends, family, and some crazy tunes to dance the night away.
Scott & Dale, thank you for the honour of documenting your love. Your friends and families made Nick & I feel so very welcome (especially with all their photo booth antics)… I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both as husband and wife!
The groom, Scott & his groomsmen got ready at Jacaranda Cottages… Such a relaxing spot, hidden among the sunshine coast hinterland!
Meanwhile, the bride Daleanne and her bridesmaids (& bridesman) were at the stunning Runaway To Maleny… such a beautiful venue and just perfect for a bride on the morning of her wedding day! Highly recommended!
The team from Silk Hair & Makeup were fantastic to work with, not only making the girls look extra beautiful but also running on time – which is super important on the morning of a wedding day!
Both the ceremony & reception were held at Weddings at Tiffanys at Maleny on the Sunshine Coast… It was the first time I have had the opportunity to photograph a wedding there and wow, was I impressed! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the staff were all on point and made it such an enjoyable day – with everything running super smoothly! I am dying to get back there…
Here comes the bride…
This is why you need two photographers at your wedding…
One to document your father walking you down the aisle and the other to focus on the tears welling up in your husband to be’s eyes as you make your way to him! The guys always make me emotional… Just look at the awe on Scott’s face and the tears in his eyes. So much love.
Paul Vogue Marriage Celebrant did a fab job at the ceremony… he always makes it so personal for every couple that he has the honour of marrying! Dale & Scott were no exception… great job Paul!
Officially husband & wife!
For the bridal portraits, just as the storm was rolling in – Dale, Scott & their bridal party jumped in the bus provided by Mystic Mountain Tours and we made our way to One Tree Hill. You must admit, even with such moody skies, that Sunshine Coast view (and that crazy tree) is still pretty darn special!
