I’m not sure I even know where to start with these two… Seriously. Trev & Kat are two of the nicest, most genuine people I think I know. For months I had been chatting to Kat via email & Facebook as we organised her wedding photography, but their engagement session was the first time I met them in person (like many of my JFL couples). That afternoon I arrived at The Spit on the Gold Coast and was super excited by what I saw – not only was there a cool jetty that we could use but there are a lot of pretty beach tracks that are quite private we could use as well. Exciting!

Here’s a peek into some of the photos we took that afternoon:

All I can think about when I see Kat’s gorgeous engagement ring, is the way that Trev proposed. On a Bicycle Wine Tour in Orange, NSW – where Kat grew up. Honestly, any proposal that includes vineyards & an adventure gets a huge tick of approval from me…

Trev & Kat are getting married at Mavis’s Kitchen in northern NSW tomorrow – so they wanted their engagement session to have a different backdrop to their wedding photos. Since Trev is a keen fisherman we decided to do the session near the water, at The Spit on the Gold Coast. It wasn’t really a fishing spot but the beach made the perfect backdrop for these love birds anyway!

Trev & Kat, thank you for being you. You guys totally rocked the session, it makes me so excited for your Wedding Day tomorrow!

Wish them well in the comments below you guys! I’d love to hear what you think of these photos too:
