Despite what the name suggests, a Wedding Guest Book is not limited to a book! Putting your own flair on the traditional guestbook is a great way to let your guests leave a special message for you, in a unique and creative way. Plus, you will have something to cherish and display forever… I wanted to share some Wedding Guest Book ideas for you, to help inspire you towards getting creative & personalising this element of your Wedding!

Here are some of my faves:

1. World Globe

Perfect for a couple that loves to travel or perhaps met abroad, this would have to be my favourite “guest book” idea of all time (maybe that’s partly due to my own desire to explore every part of the world)… but, I also love the sign that pairs perfectly with the globe, declaring “Love makes the world go round!” Sigh. See, just perfect!

2. Personalised Chopping Board

Calling all foodies!! I think this would be perfect for a couple that love to cook (or eat) together! Order a personalised chopping board and have all your friends & family sign it or leave you little messages on it for later… what a keepsake! I probably wouldn’t actually use it – but imagine how good this would make you feel each time you go to make dinner together as husband & wife, seeing it displayed in your kitchen. Love!

3. Advice Coasters

We all know that our friends & family love us and want the best for us… which generally means they have a truckload of advice that they want to shower us with, especially on the day of your wedding! But hey, it can never hurt to have a little advice at the ready. On the welcome table to your Reception, why not have a basket full of blank coasters for your guests to fill out with advice or even shared memories. How nice would it be to use these as you’re settling into married life together and if you’re anything like me, you do enjoy a good drop of wine every now & again! (see below for another wine inspired idea haha)

4. Wine Bottles

I seriously love this idea, yes because it includes wine but also because you can store these bottles away and open them on a milestone wedding anniversary! I just love that idea…

(Quick tip: You can even paint the bottles before the big day – they would look awesome painted gold or one of your wedding colours and then messages can just be written in black)

5. Jenga Set

For something a little fun, why not use a Jenga Set as your “Guest Book”? Simply, buy enough Jenga so that each guest can sign a piece or write a short message – just think you could even pull your Jenga set out for each anniversary… it could become quite a cute tradition!

I seriously hope you are feeling a little more inspired about your options when it comes to a guestbook for your wedding day! Remember, there are no rules as to what you can do – it’s YOUR wedding day and it should reflect you both as a couple… Get creative and there is no limits as to what you could come up with! Happy Wedding Planning loves! x
